Contexte :
La Ville de Paris a été désignée par European Athletics ville hôte des championnats d’Europe d’Athlétisme qui se dérouleront en août 2020, quelques semaines après les Jeux Olympiques. La Fédération Française, porteuse de la candidature et organisatrice contractuelle de l’événement, a créé une association dénommée Paris Athlé 2020 pour en assurer l’organisation, sous l’égide de l’instance européenne.
Dans ce cadre, le Comité de Direction Paris 2020, qui étoffera sa structure durant les mois à venir, recherche son Directeur de Compétition, qui aura en charge la mise en place des secteurs technique et compétition de l’événement, sous la responsabilité de la Directrice Générale Déléguée, en lien étroit avec les délégués techniques désignés par European Athletics.

Activities:
The Paris 2020 Technical Director will be in charge of the planing and management of all technical aspects of the competition, in cooperation with the appointed Technical Delegates, European Athletics competition managers, the different department of Local Organising Committee (LOC) and relevant stakeholders (venue managers, judges, technical partners/suppliers, city, Host Broadcaster ….).

He will have the responsibility:

• to supervise the set-up and management of competition, warm-up, training, halfmarathon venues
• to manage the competition officials and technical volunteers
• to supervise the delivery of technical services (data processing, timing …) in cooperation with the EA suppliers
• to cooperate with the Event Presentation team
• to supervise the technical team servicesto supervise medical / anti-doping services
